After the Lord delivered his bride from slavery in Egypt, he brought them out to HIs holy mountain to make a marriage covenant with them. While He is describing their house and home to their representative head, Moses, they commit adultery. Were it not for Moses’ mediation on their behalf, they might well have been left to die in the wilderness, but Moses did intercede. Then he said to the Lord God of heaven and earth: Show me Thy glory. What does all this have to teach us about cultivating wisdom and virtue? Much in every way! Come and hear.
