This collection of Advent lesson plans considers a painting and a poem each day in preparation for Christ’s nativity. Designed for use with all ages, the questions and prompts get harder as they progress, so you can stop whenever is most fitting for you. Each day includes prompts for viewing and listening closely, questions to contemplate, and activities for further engagement. The art and poetry span the early Christian church to today and include work from a variety of genres while focusing on the great works of our Christian tradition.

Large, full color prints of each work of art are included with each lesson.
