How do you make a Latin text understandable without translating? You don’t need to be a fluent Latin speaker to start. Learn the right question words, apply them effectively while reading, and utilize three levels of questioning to assess comprehension. These language learning tools will begin making your class more active. The workshop demonstrates using questions with texts from Henle, Cambridge, and Lingua Latina during the morning sessions. In the afternoon, we will divide into groups to practice these skills building both confidence and competence.
