Every Human Dream

I believe that the gospel of Christ is the fulfillment of every human dream.

I believe that the gospel of Christ stands in opposition to every error.

I do not believe in a two-tier universe, with a religious or spiritual level above a distinct secular or “natural” level.

So when I read these words, I embrace them with joy, even though they are not “Christian.” Do you know where they come from?

Standing on tiptoe, you are unsteady.
Straddle-legged, you cannot go.
If you show yourself, you will not be seen.
If you affirm yourself, you will not shine.
If you boast, you will have no merit.
If you promote yourself, you will have no success.

May the Lord enable me to walk in His way.
