This course aims to prepare the student to learn how to think and write well throughout their studies with the Lost Tools of Writing curriculum. Using stories and poetry, we will discuss the basic elements of grammar, how to read well, while working through approximately the first half of the LTW 1. We will spend time learning how to complete work correctly and use the workbook to its fullest. This class will also prepare students by orienting them to the online aspect of classes, including how to properly format papers, submit and correct work, and use the other electronic tools available to us.
