There was a moment during David Hicks Saturday talk when a great chasm opened in time and space and the cosmos sat on the edge of a knife. Though out of context it can’t have quite the impact, he said:
To desire God is to know Him.
A gap was opened and love poured through. Then he continued.
It is the beauty of Christ that makes us desire [God].
