Two Foundational Errors of Modern Thought

Truth cannot be discovered by individuals. That is not the sort of thing it is. It can only be known by persons.
Civilization is not technological sophistication or even extended life; civilization is propriety.
Therefore, individualistic, technologically driven education cannot help us know the truth or become civilized, as demonstrated by the fact that schools attempt neither to teach children how to know Truth nor to be civilized.
