Gregory Wolfe to speak @ ’11 conference

We’re happy to announce that Mr. Gregory Wolfe, founder and editor of Image Journal, will be joining us next summer for the 2011 CiRCE Conference, in Arlington, TX.

Mr. Wolfe is writer in residence at Seattle Pacific University and the founder and editor of IMAGE, one of America’s leading literary quarterlies. He also directs the Master of fine Arts program in creative writing at SPU and has served as a judge for the National Book Awards. His essays, reviews, and articles have appeared in numerous journals, including Commonweal and First Things, and have been anthologized in collections such as The Best Christian Writing and The Best Catholic Writing. He received his BA, summa cum laude, from Hillsdale College and his MA in english literature from oxford University. His current writing project is a book entitled The Company of Good Letters: How Erasmus and His Circle of Renaissance Christian Humanists Shaped the Modern World. He and his wife, novelist Suzanne M. wolfe, are the parents of four children and live in Seattle, washington.

Mr. Wolfe will be taking part in the Poetic Knowledge Panel and will be presenting on “Christian Humanism: A Faith For All Seasons.”
