Moses asked God to show him His glory and, in a qualified way, God did so. Yet Moses couldn’t see His face. Yet, when he met with God in the tabernacle, we learn that they communed face to face. When Christ stood on Mt. Tabor, his disciples saw His face shining like the sun. In II Corinthians, St. Paul reveals the mystery flowing between these revelations. By doing so, he reveals more about teaching and learning than 100 workshops could ever show. In this meditation, Kern contemplates some of the revelations of the face of God found in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Along the way he shares some of his astonishment at the everyday practical applications our Lord so humbly proffers to His children.
