It is not enough simply to assert that beauty will save the child. It would be irresponsible not to discuss how it will do so and what are the roles of the teacher, parent, school, and family in applying beauty to the child’s soul. How do we keep ugliness from entering their hearts? How do we nourish their souls on the beautiful? What are the effects of beauty or its absence? How do we bring about those effects?
