Using written narrations, students will discuss Lewis’ great sci-fi trilogy. Following in-class lessons, students will practice LTW’s student workbook forms. There will be a prescribed syllabus for readings so students can be prepared to discuss ideas in class. Class lessons follow the LTW 1 table of contents but go at the pace of the class. The foundational tenets of rhetoric will be covered in this course to include generating ideas, outlining, and crafting final persuasive essays. Basic spelling, writing and editing are pre-requisites. Class meets Wednesdays, first drafts are due Monday mornings, all corrections and final drafts are due the following Wednesday afternoon.
