While working through the first half of the Lost Tools of Writing Level I, students will practice foundational skills for thinking and writing well. This year long course offers students an opportunity to work at a slower pace and linger on challenging lessons. Weekly literature discussions will provide a supportive environment for students to compare and contrast the fairy tales they are reading. Through comparison, students will learn to read closely and wonder.
This is an ideal first online course for middle schoolers. Technical aspects of navigating course requirements of submissions, corrections, and communication will be covered and practiced.
