This intensive is for you! The classical renewal, which began with Dorothy Sayers’ essay “The Lost Tools of Learning”, has grown and been refined over the decades following her call for a change. We will discuss the history of CCE and where we are now, defining together what undergirds a classical education. Other topics include the five common topics, mimetic and socratic instruction, and assessment. This will be a time of engaging with each other to refine our own understanding of classical education through the webinars as well as through our Canvas forum. Come contemplate and implement the possibilities this education offers.
