Way back in 2002 we at CiRCE hosted our first conference on the campus of Queens College in Charlotte, NC. That July weekend was the beginning of something special. Not just because it was the beginning of so many years of contemplation by some of the wisest, most inquisitive minds in the classical renewal, but also because it midwifed the birth of a community of like-minded educators who were committed to preserving and passing on truth, goodness, and beauty.

Wendell Berry, Louise Cowan, Laura Berquist, Sarah Ruden, Andrew Pudewa, Christopher Perrin, Martin Cothran, Peter Kreeft, Peter Leithart, Ralph Wood, George Grant, Debbie Harris, Adam Andrews, Christine Perrin, and many, many others. These are the wise men and women who have guided and continue to guide us all in our quest for a renewal of education, and through education, a renewal of thought and culture.
