The Fables of Aesop is out now!

The Holiness of a Week

Yesterday launched the greatest week in human history. It was Palm Sunday and the children lined the streets with their palm branches and people sang, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord,” while our Lord passed between them.

This is the week He is glorified.

This is the week He conquers death.

This is the week He enters the Holy of Holies and sprinkles His own blood on the heavenly altar.

All his promises are made. He even hinted at our resurrection when He raised Lazarus from the dead. At that time He said something a little strange, even unnerving. He told his dear friend Martha that He is the resurrection and the life, that those who believe Him will never die.

In Phillipians 4, Paul wrote:

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.
