I know I keep coming back to this college thing, but that’s because I think it’s a cultural disease or a black hole that a lot of people are being sucked into. I watch so many parents worry themselves sick about their children getting into college because the media and the President keep telling us that without a college education you have no financial future.

It’s bogus and it’s dangerous. In fact, I believe it is a non-conspiratorial imposition of a worldview on mostly careless minds.

This article from the Pope center shows how we need to think more carefully and with less anxiety about college. In my opinion as an educator and lover of good colleges, most people who go, don’t need to and probably shouldn’t.
