Beginning May 31, 2011 we’ll be launching a brand-new initiative that will enable us to continue to help you cultivate wisdom and virtue in your students.
The CiRCE Institute Online Academy – taught by CiRCE certified master teacher, Camille Goldston, and award winning professor, Dr. James Taylor – is designed to help homeschooling parents supplement the education of their children. Using time-tested exercises as tools to guide your students as they make the effort to become better writers and readers, the Circe Online Academy seeks above all to help parents cultivate wisdom and virtue in young people.
Featured classes included summer courses from Dr. Taylor on how to read Shakespeare and how to read a short story, fall composition courses using The Lost Tools of Writing, and a fall course on how to read a poem. Space in each class is limited to thirteen students.
To Apply, an application must be submitted to be reviewed by the directors of The CiRCE Institute Online Classes. The application form will be available on March 15, when enrollment begins. Once a student has applied he or she will be required to meet briefly over the phone with the course teacher to ensure that the student is prepared to take part in the class. Once accepted, the student’s spot will be reserved. Payment will take place once the student has been accepted into the class and reserved their spot.
The Lost Tools of Writing™ Online Classes offer:
– Personalized instruction and feedback
– Experienced, expert teachers
– Question and answer forum
