The reason I draw your attention to this post on the value of ordinariness is because of how rich is its variety of insights, even in the comments. You’ll find an unpublished, and moving, anecdote about Ronald Reagan during his GM theater days, a quotation from Lewis’s Weight of Glory, which is his yang to the yin of The Abolition of Man (yin and yang seem fitting since he speaks of the tao in that book), and an insight into our current president’s mind that is both compelling and disturbing on many levels. Plus I love The Imaginative Conservative. You should link to it.
